The Snake River Valley Bass Club Website
The Snake River Valley Bass Club is a family orientated club and is a nonprofit organization affiliated with the FLW and TBF Inc. We are a group of fisherman dedicated to the promotion of bass fishing as a major sport, good sportsmanship, water safety, the propagation of bass and the conservation of the water quality of our lakes, rivers and reservoirs. Our affiliation with the FLW and TBF Inc. includes involvement in youth events designed to expose young men and women to the sport of bass fishing and teach them good sportsmanship.
We strive to improve our skills as bass anglers though the exchange of bass catching techniques and ideas and strive to share our techniques and ideas with other anglers. Full adherence to all conservation codes, state fish and game regulations as well as local or federal regulations is mandatory and violations are not tolerated. As members of the Snake River Valley Bass Club we offer the Idaho Department of Fish and Game our organized political support and encouragement.
Snake River Valley Bass Club has a monthly meeting which is held on the third Thursday of each month. One month at Simons Auction Barn, 437 West HWY. 26, Blackfoot, Idaho and one month at Perkins Family Restaurant 1600 Pocatello Creek Rd., Pocatello alternating between the two. Our banquet is normally held in either January or February. Our tournament season extends from late April or early May though late September or early October. Normally we hold five or six club tournaments and four Federation Qualifier tournaments. Although we are somewhat limited we do not hold all of our tournaments on the same waters but spread them around between American Falls Reservoir, Massacre Rocks, Twin Lakes, Milner Reservoir, Ririe and C. J. Strike.
