SNAKE RIVER VALLEY BASS CLUB
PHIL MEADOR TOYOTA CLASSIC
TOURNAMENT RULES
1. The tournament is off limits from midnight June 11th until tournament time Saturday June 17th at ooze off time.
2. The tournament directors will perform boat checks at the tournament starting line to include live well, life jackets and general safety checks.
3. Life jackets must be on and buckled by each participant when the main internal combustion engine is running.
4. If there are more than 30 boats, the tournament will be divided into equal flights with no flight exceeding 30 boats. There will be 5 minutes between starts of flights and correspondingly 30 minutes between flight check in time. Late entries will go out last after last flight.
5. A maximum of 5 bass will be allowed in the live well at any time. This means as soon as you catch your 6th bass you must immediately cull back to 5 bass. There will be no cull of fish at the weigh in site. A team may weigh in only 5 bass, 12 inches or larger as measured on a golden rule flat board with mouth closed and tail fanned. The tail will be swept in the fanned position in effort to make the fish go. Short fish disqualifies the team and will be turned over to the Fish and Game. NO EXCEPTIONS.
6. There will be .25 lb. penalty for each dead fish weighed. This will be deducted from a team total weight. There will be no culling of dead fish. Any team caught doing so will be disqualified and turned over to the Fish and Game.
7. A .50 lb. penalty will be assessed for each minute a team is late for weigh in. A team will be disqualified after being late for 15 minutes. Boats must be off plane within the no wake area, or the .50 lb. penalty will be strictly enforced.
8. Live bait is not allowed, artificial baits and lures only.
9. Competitors in this tournament are expected to follow a higher standard of sportsmanship, courtesy, safety and conservation. Any infraction of these fundamental sporting principals may be deemed cause of disqualification. Maximum courtesy must be practiced at all times especially with regards to boating and angling in the vicinity of non-competitors who may be on tournament waters. Any act of a competitor, which reflects unfavorably on efforts to promote fisheries conservation, clean waters, and courtesy, shall be reason for disqualification.
10. If a participant is issued a Federal, State or Local citation during the tournament, the participant is automatically disqualified from the tournament in which the citation was issued.
11. All protests towards any contestant must be in writing and given to the Tournament Director before weigh in is finished. No Exceptions.
12. Any violation of the above rules is considered grounds for and may result in disqualification by the tournament committee. Any decision made by the tournament committee is final.
13. The tournament committee reserves the right to refuse entry from any contestant.
